Toner to Stock Olson OTOT-1000E Series

Toner Cable Equipment Inc. will be stocking the new Olson Technology LaserLite OTOT-1000E series of Optical transmitters. Toner who is the world’s largest stocking distributor of Olson products has decided to replace the 870 MHz transmitters they stock with the 1000 MHz model. The OTOT-1000E series transmitters provide the same high performance specifications as the OTOT-870, but with the improved 1000 MHz bandwidth for almost the same price. The OTOT series fiber optic transmitters have been Toners most popular transmitter with more than 5000 pieces deployed in the past six years. The OTOT-1000E transmitters are used in conjunction with Olson Nodes such as the OTMN or OTPN series and are deployed by cable companies, casinos, schools, broadcasters, the government, lodging and even the military.

Toner to Distribute Contemporary Research QMOD-HD

Toner Cable Equipment, Inc announced they have added the Contemporary Research QMOD-HD to their product line.

The QMOD-HD will be a stocked product towards the end of August. The QMOD-HD modulator converts PC-driven HD VGA and component into an HDTV digital cable channel. The QMOD-HD opens the door to cost effective distribution of digital signage and HD subscriber sources using existing broadband coax cabling. The QMOD-HD accepts HD VGA and component analog video plus digital or stereo audio, and converts the inputs into a 720p/1080i MPEG2 digital media stream. Then the unit formats and amplifies the signal as an agile QAM digital cable channel.
