Toner TIN40R-1000 two way fiber optic node
It is the newest node in the Toner family of fiber optic products
The TIN40R-1000 has a forward receive bandwidth of 54-1000 MHz
The forward receiver has a optical input window of -8 to +4 dBm and operates from 1200 to 1600 nm
When the optical input to the node is kept between -8 and +4 dB the unit has a AGC circuit to maintain a stable RF output level
The node uses a Ga As E-pHMET hybrid silicone to ensure a stable output with extremely low distortions. It has a output capability of 40 dBmv which eliminates the need for a separate amplifier after the node.
You are probably saying what the heck is GaAs E-pHMET, well it is (Galium Arsinide Enhancement Mode Pseudomorphic High Electron Mobility Transistor) or the latest silicone technology for amplifiers
It featurers an internal 0 to 18 dB gain control for ease of setup
The node has two SC/APC fiber connectors, one for the forward receive and one for the reverse path transmitter.
The reverse path operates at 5 to 42 MHz and the node features a 2 mW 1550 nm return DFB laser.
Both forward and return signals are on a common node output connector eliminating the need for a separate diplex filter.
This is an ideal node for any application where low noise and high performance is required. It is often used in MDU’s, hotels, Casinos, Bars, schools and any where a reliable node is needed.
Power is through a supplied wall transformer that works from 90 to 230 VAC and is supplied with several different wall plugs for use in different countries.
To make setup even easier the TIN40R-1000 features a internal LED display showing receive optical levels.
