The FOR1000-30 is a compact and rugged fiber optic receiver for receiving optical RF signals and distributing them in an RF system such as a CATV system or a PON network. This one way node receives optical signals at 1310 – 1550 nm with a wide window of -16 to +2 dBm. The node has an output level of 28 to 30 dBmV while maintaining excellent distortion characters.

The FOR1000-30 is built in a die-cast aluminum housing that is powder coated for superior corrosion resistance. It has a separate power supply connection for use with the included wall wart type AC adapter or it can be remotely powered by duplexing the 12 to 16 VDC on the RF cable.

The FOR100-42 is ideal for FTTX applications as well as anywhere a cost-effective optical receiver is needed.
